Bishop Benson Storms Uyo, As African Church Is Set To Receive Him

The Ibibio South Diocese of the African church is set to officially appreciate and receive its own, His Lordship, Rt. Rev Israel Benson for the selfless service offered in the Diocese.

A release issued by the planning committee reveals that the event will be conducted on Sunday, April 18, 20201 at the St Paul’s Cathedral of the African church in Afaha Ubium, Onna Local Government Area by 10:00am.

According to the release, Bishop Israel who is the Bishop of the African Church, Ibibio South Diocese and Akwa Ibom State Chapter Chairman of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) will also be launching his 4th book.

“Asides this, Bishop Bemson is renowned for his passion for inspirational writings stemming from his years of life experiences”, the planning committee averred.

The Book which is titled “Able God”, tells the story of God’s ability to secure and provide for His people in the face of hard times as was the case during the period of lockdown, occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. It also highlights best approaches to communicating with God and gives insights on his omnipotence.

The release invites Christians, believers and people of all ages and denominations to attend the event, which will be conducted in accordance with COVID-19 protocols.
