A’Ibom: MercySpeaks Foundation Presents Financial Aid To School Of Nursing Applicants

As part of the foundation’s commitment to bridging the gap of unequal opportunities in the society, MercySpeaks Foundation has granted a financial aid to 12 students to facilitate admission and registration into the School of Nursing, Akwa Ibom State.

The beneficiaries which were drawn from all three Senatorial districts of Akwa Ibom State were awarded the aid after a successful application and screening process.

Setting the tone for the event, the President of the foundation, Rev. Mercy Williams reiterated that the organization was born out of her commitment to create impact and give back to the society, stressing that collective efforts are needed more than ever to make the world a better place.

Harping on the slogan which is “Creating impact, one life at a time”, MercySpeaks recalled with glowing pride how her late father (Decobass) believed so much in the cause of humanity and this defined his life.

While thanking God for adding another year to her, MercySpeaks was enthusiastic that with the right partnership, the organization from time to time will roll out life changing and impactful projects.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of the financial aid to beneficiaries, cutting of the birthday cake and goodwill messages from family, friends and political associates.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Ms Francisca Inyang, thanked God for the life of Rev. Mercy and prayed for God’s continuous guidance and protection in her future endeavors.

Dignitaries at the occasion included Archbishop Cletus & Bishop Blessing Bassey (Primate, Destiny International Mission) who were ably represented by the Resident Pastors- Rev. Segun & Pst Grace Adekola; Senator Dr. Akon Eyakenyi who was represented by Mrs. Hannah Wills-Obong; Rev. Hope Ekong (Ranking Elder statesman of PDP in Abak LGA); among others.
